Hello, I'm Miss Sarah!
and I’m thrilled to be teaching the Music for Young Children (MYC) program in Leduc, AB!
With over 20 years of experience teaching piano and working with young children — from private lessons to Christmas pageants and music classes — I’m passionate about making music education both meaningful and fun. I can’t wait to meet your child and help them build a lifelong love of music through MYC!
Full-time Homeschool Mom of Four
Sarah, her husband Joel, and their four children live on an acreage just outside of Leduc, where life is filled with fresh air, wide-open spaces, and plenty of time outdoors! When she’s not homeschooling or teaching piano, you’ll often find her in the garden, tending to plants or gathering eggs from the chickens. Sarah also loves staying active and is a dedicated CrossFit enthusiast. Whether she’s nurturing her garden, spending time with family, or pursuing her own fitness goals, Sarah brings the same energy, joy, and dedication that she shares with her piano students.
I began my own musical journey with MYC and graduated from the program at age 8. From there, I continued piano studies and eventually completed my Grade 10 through The Royal Conservatory of Music. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music from King’s University in Edmonton.
